We Spent Time In Actual Civilization?

This week we spent our time in the semi-big city, Missoula, MT. It was a very fun city, and we all loved it there. The RV park we stayed in was bright and filled with all kinds of flowers. It was also the first RV park that was paved and not gravel, so we were able to ride our bikes. I may have almost crashed into Oliver, but it all turned out okay. Oliver also rode around the park with no hands. He was very excited about this. Eleanor, of course, made another friend at this park. She was one of the ladies that worked at the office. One night, at 9:30 because it doesn’t get dark until 10, we had a dance party. Truthfully we were probably on our neighbor’s nerves, but we were having lots of fun so it didn’t matter that much. The day we got there we ate at this really good burger place called the Missoula Club, they also had really great milkshakes.

On our second day there, I got to go take a ballet class at a local dance studio in town. It was absolutely incredible, and I am so glad I went. I ended up being the youngest there by 4 years. I am 15, and the closest there to my age was 19. Everyone in the class was really nice, and i learned a lot. I hadn’t realized how badly I wanted to actually take a class until I got there. I am definitely going to be finding more to take. Also that night, my mom and I had to walk maybe 6 blocks holding ginormous pizza boxes. My mom also accidentally drove into a bus lane, and a man ran into the road, right in front of us, telling us to back up. Eventually, after my mom consistently tried telling the man we couldn’t back up into moving traffic, a police officer came and told us it was okay and to keep going. We had a great laugh about that.

Thanks for the pic mom

Day three in Missoula, Thursday, was a great one for me. I got my nose pierced!!! This was a big deal to me for two reasons. One, because I had been wanting to do it for a while now, and, two, because I am a huge chicken and get scared easily. I pushed through my wimpy thoughts and it didn’t end up hurting at all. That evening, my siblings, my mom, and me went and roamed the city. We stopped at a cookie shop, looked at fiesta ware, tried on sombreros, and looked at inappropriate posters. It was a fun time.

On Friday we went on a marvelous hike with our dogs.

On Saturday we went to the Farmer’s Market held in town, and witnessed a protest. We also ate at Taco del sol. That night we went bowling, and we didn’t use any bumpers. We all killed it, even if my dad won both games.

That Sunday we saw Incredibles 2, it was incredible, if you catch my drift, and we felt like royalty in the stupidly fancy theater we saw it at.

Monday was a good day too. My mom and I went out for breakfast, Ollie and I got haircuts, we walked around town once again, Eleanor, my mom, and I went into a vintage shop, and we ate at the burger place from the first day. Oliver tried to teach me how to play pool, and we also facetimed Bobo and G.

Yesterday we packed it up and headed on to Glacier National Park. ( where we are now )

Peace out girl scouts.

  2. Wow, you are so descriptive telling about the different adventures, love it. The ballet class is my favorite. You are going to pick up so many tips along the way. The pay phone is a huge flashback. Im sure your parents told you that is our only way to communicate back in the day; if you weren’t at home or someone else’s house. They even wrote a country music song about it, “Here is a quarter, call someone who cares” I look forward to hear about the days to come in the new park!
    Love and miss you guys,
It was great to see your pretty faces,
