Seattle and Stuff

We had a very eventful time in Seattle. Well, I say Seattle, really we stayed right outside of Olympia. Close enough. I enjoyed our time in Seattle and LOVED the city as a whole. I could definitely see myself living there.

The RV park we stayed at was really nice, and Eleanor, of course, made ANOTHER friend. She was nice and they spent lots of time together.

On Friday of our stay, I chopped almost 8 inches of my hair off. I absolutely love it, and I am very glad I did it.

Saturday, August 4th, we went to the Weezer and Pixies show!! I had so much fun. The music was great, and I was surprised that I knew most of the songs.

August 6th, a Monday, we went into the city. It was a pretty productive day. My dad almost got the truck stuck in a parking garage, we got some coffee, walked the streets, went entirely the wrong direction than we were trying to go, went to an aquarium, and went to City Market.

The next day, I went and took a hip hop class at a local dance studio that was close to us. I thoroughly enjoyed it as I had not taken a hip hop class in a year and a half. ( my dad said I killed it )

Wednesday, we went back into the city. We got more coffee, obviously it’s Seattle. Our visit to the Museum of Pop Culture was a blast, along with the rest of the day roaming the city of Seattle.

On Friday, my mom, dad, and I went to a farmer’s market in Olympia, and that night Oliver and I attempted to make a blueberry cobbler. Our baking did not go as planned as the kitchen soon was filled with smoke from my overabundance of blueberries spilling over in the oven. Everything was fine!! I did not burn down the house.

My mom, Oliver, and I spent our Saturday running errands and roaming the city of Olympia, in the rain. It was a little chilly and wet, but i got a couple of books out of the trip.

On Sunday we went to a kind of crappy Renaissance festival. Tennessee’s is way better!

Thanks for tuning in this week folks, more radical stuff coming soon.
